Heyes Lane Primary School

It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as the Headteacher of Heyes Lane Primary School. Having now been in post for a year, I continue to feel extremely honoured and privileged to lead this fantastic school into the next stage of its journey. With over 21 years of experience in education, including 14 years as Deputy Head at Heyes Lane, I know first-hand what a truly special school we are. With confident, polite, articulate children and enthusiastic, dynamic and engaging teachers, we live by our ethos of being ‘an exceptional school for everyone’.

Our 5 Core Values and 5 Beliefs remain at the heart of everything we do. I am passionate about providing our children with exciting, creative and meaningful learning experiences that build their enthusiasm for learning and support their growth in many different ways. Our talented and dedicated staff ensure that learning is inspiring and engaging, enabling pupils to make excellent progress and achieve high standards. The atmosphere and culture of our school nurtures and supports all our pupils to become the very best version of themselves, to feel confident in who they are, and to develop a love and respect for others and for the world around them. At Heyes Lane, we pride ourselves on giving every child a happy, successful and memorable primary school experience.
